You can be assured that every piece of art from Heart To Art Studio
will be created from Pam’s heart…
but will capture yours.
Your photo session will be just the beginning of what will surely become your most treasured piece of art. You won’t find 30 minute photo sessions in Pam’s studio. Pam takes the time to form a bond of trust and comfort with each client so she can truly capture their character, personality and soul. Pam’s photographs are impressive and are available for sale, however; her goal is always her paintings and her art. From her photographs, she paints, creates handmade art books, cards, beautiful museum boxes, trinket and treasures. No two pieces are ever alike every product and art piece is designed with only that client in mind.
After carefully studying and editing your photographs she will select the one that will become the basis of your final artwork. Blending both virtual and traditional techniques, Pam will determine whether she will use soft and impressionistic watercolors, bold saturated acrylics or the darker jewel tones of a traditional oil painting for your custom portrait.
Pam’s paintings often start with a digital underpainting printed on fine art canvas or artist watercolor paper and then completed with conventional acrylics or pastels. Some of Pam’s creations are purely digital creations. Pam adeptly bridges the gap of two distinctive art forms: the traditional tools used by the great masters and the virtual tools used by the gifted artists of today. As a digital artist, she blends millions of pixels of lustrous colors on a virtual palette, colors that could not be conceived on a conventional palette. She then uses her mastery of digital tools and technology to convey the passion and emotion of the portraits she paints. The portraits are totally hand painted and conceived by the artist. Pam has spent many year studying this medium of painting. the techniques used are the same as movie makers and animation artist. Each painting consists of layers upon layers of virtual paint. All of Pam’s art is processed in her studio on the same equipment used for museum and fine art reproduction. Pam insists on total control over every piece of art that leaves her studio.
